America's Best: Hot Rod


This 30-second spot directed by M. Henry Jones was perhaps the most outrageous spot we made for America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses.

The spot combines shades of 1950s horror movies with 1960s biker film.

The spectacular wheel-style animation was made in collaboration with legendary animator Bob Franz. The offline post-production and sound work was done at AMI by Eric Schefter and the Flame work was done by Bill Mahler at the facility now known as BLINK!
