Bloomingdale's Maximillian Furs

Over the past five years Shawn Hughey, principal and founder in IMelt, has come to American Montage to post-produce spots he was producing for such retail giants as Bloomingdales, Saks 5th Avenue and Macy's. The results have always been spectacular.

This year he asked us to help produce them.

There was a lot of work to do. A roll out of a series of spots for the Federated Group of stores that would be for their entire Christmas ad campaign. This would include spots for Bloomingdales, Marshall Fields Avenues, Macy's and Carson's.

As designed the production would require over 80 costume changes, three full set changes, two separate camera and lighting crews; one union and one non-union.

It also needed to be shot in two days. Needless to say it was a hectic and challenging time.

We believe the results show grace and style.
